光绪丁未年造大清金币库平一两一组 藏品介绍：
光绪丁未年造大清金币库平一两壹圆型银币系光绪三十三年户部天津造币总厂铸造，是年为干支纪年的丁未年。光绪三十一年，清廷颁布《整顿圆法酌定章程》着手进行币制改革，“所造三品之币，即文曰大清金币、大清银币、大清铜币，通行天下丁未年光绪银币，以归一律”。光绪三十二年(1906年)和三十三年(1907年)，户部天津造币总厂设计光绪丙午年造大清金币库平一两和光绪丁未年造大清金币库平一两的币模，正面中央珠圈内镌汉文“大清金币”，珠圈外上环分别镌“光绪丙午年造”和“光绪丁未年造”，下环镌“库平一两”，左右两端各镌一个五点花星。背面中央镌蟠龙图，四周镌云纹。由于清政府拟实行的“金本位汇兑制”在中国晚清当时积贫积弱的社会政治和经济条件下无法施行，导致光绪丙午年造和丁未年造大清金币库平一两最终未能发行，户部天津造币总厂以这两种大清金币的设计币模版式铸行了当时通行的壹圆型银币。
我国使用金币有悠久的历史，早在二千二百年前的战国时期，楚国就行使“郢爰”等金版货币。而我国近代机制金币则始于清朝晚期，早在光绪中叶时，清廷中既有些官员倡议我国行使金币，如陈炽在《通用金镑说》中提出“欲收利权，欲兴商务，并非铸金钱不可，金钱之轻重，非仿用金镑不可”之议，光绪三十年（1904年）户部为筹款以铸金币，特向朝廷提出具体的实施办法，并由天津造币总厂于光绪三十二年（1906年）正式试铸了金币。
次年造币厂又试铸了“光绪丁未年造”的金币，除正面的铸造年份不同，背面的龙图、云纹、线圈也不一样，各有特色。光绪丁未年造大清金币库平一两银币诞生于该历史时期，有着浓郁而深厚的历史底蕴，是现今人们研究该历史时期的重要实物见证，史料价值珍贵！
“大清金币”虽以试铸成品，但总因我国藏金有限，最终未能实施流通，今存世也甚少，丙午丁未大清金币的银质和丁未红铜试铸样币，均为仅见之品，应比金币更为珍贵。
